The JOY of Christianity is not that we go to Church and attend services, dance, jump, pray and come back, it is that; We increase our Relationship with God and Improve our Relationship with men through Information and Activities in these services.
The advantage we have as Christians over others is that we have an avenue to KNOWING GOD MORE.
Throughout the Bible, there are several mentions of; 'Secret Place', 'Inner Courts', 'Holy of Holies', and more Scared institutions of God that ONLY CERTAIN PERSONS WITH MUCH MORE DEEPER REVELATION OF GOD WERE PERMITTED TO ENTER.
Today, most Christians are either shallow in this DEEPER REVELATION OF THEIR MAKER AND MASTER or probably do not know anything about HIM at all.
Almost all of us attend Church services for several reasons; Not to be the only one at home; Not to be queried; Not to be seen as backsliding; Not to be poor/sick/afflicted or even die; Not to loose the relationship with our pastor and Not to loose the connections we have made amongst fellow members (who incidentally are also in your predicament).
If your attendance of Church services is for any of these and NOT TO KNOW GOD MORE AND HOW TO WORK WITH FELOW BEINGS, then you are an unfortunate christian.
It is only in this REALM of DEEPER REVELATION that you become BLESSED indeed!
We are who we are by the REVELATION we have.
